Competition Clothing

Clothing for standards competitions is similar, but a little more formal than “casual” equestrian clothing and will include cream or plain white jodhpurs as well as a shirt and tie and long black leather riding boots.
Depending on the sport you are competing in and the level you have reached, you will also require a special type of jacket appropriate to the competition. This can range from a tweed hacking jacket for showing, show jumping, dressage and eventing, to a black, blue, green or red show jacket for showing, show jumping, dressage, and eventing, or top hat and tails for dressage and top level eventing.
